Musical and aquatic storytelling: “Today, I’m diving!

Call for projects: on the initiative of the Intercom de Bernay – Terres de Normandie as part of the region’s cultural development.

Context: three artists in residence (writer: Lise Beninca, composer: Thomas Pouyé, visual artist: Christel Sadde) to create a musical tale and cultural mediation activities for schools and social centers. This residency is part of an educational and cultural approach.

In addition to designing and building the sets, Christel Sadde led creative workshops to get young audiences involved in the show’s décor.

Sets created: a large mobile (diameter 4 m/height 4 m; buoys and discs in mirrored aluminum and fluorescent Plexiglas), a suspended sun (steel rods and painted polystyrene balls), corals and waves (paper and featherboard), a “clock fish”, paper seagulls.
