This sculpture, entitled “The Cocoon Tree”, follows on from “The Cloud Tree”.  Christel Sadde, who had just moved her studio to the Nivernais countryside, discovered the felt work of artist Adeline Solignac. Sometimes it’s a material that gives you inspiration. When Christel anchored her studio in the countryside in March 2023, she was naturally inspired to create a new celestial tree using natural materials – felt and wood – and local artisans.
